Christmas time is important because it commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ, a central event in the Christian faith that symbolizes God's love and the hope for salvation, focusing on spiritual renewal, peace, and solidarity. However, it has also incorporated cultural traditions (such as gift-giving) that foster family unity and reflection on the year ending, regardless of religious beliefs.
Due to its cultural impact as a universal moment of reflection, hope, love, and unity, beyond beliefs, and since this is our first Christmas as an established Foundation, we wanted to strengthen the bonds of commitment and hope with the families benefiting from the Plan Padrino (Sponsorship program). Gift baskets were delivered, prepared by the JDK Party venture, led by Johana Gutiérrez, a constant collaborator with our Foundation.
Likewise, together with JDK Party, gifts were provided to each and every child involved in the program, and we reaffirmed our commitment to all members of this community.
