Throughout the year 2025, approximately 10 of the 25 families enrolled in the Plan Padrino (Sponsorship Program) benefited from this initiative. The habitat improvement program aims to improve the quality of life of the participants by upgrading their homes, with a special emphasis on optimizing sanitary areas, kitchens, and bathrooms, and it is complementary to our Plan Padrino.
Participation in this program has shown that it is possible to build a promising future through joint work and collaboration, in a way that is similar to family values. It is particularly gratifying to see the collective satisfaction when comparing the achievements made with respect to their initial situation, thus reflecting the effort made.
During 2026, our goal is to increase the number of families benefiting from the habitat improvement program from 10 to 15 families, in order to reach 25 of our 30 families or 83% of the total.
In general terms, the current housing conditions of these families are precarious; some live in mud brick homes without access to basic sanitation services or sewerage infrastructure, drinking water, gas, or other essential public services.
